Your wedding is exciting, it’s your day to shine, and it’s your dream. While your wedding is going to be beautiful, most of it you don’t carry with you when the wedding is over…except your photos and your video. We fully believe in hiring a videographer to capture your wedding so you can watch it on your anniversaries.

From the start of the day, all the way until you step out and go on your next adventure as husband and wife, you will want your videographer to capture those special moments. Having a timeline available for your videographer is an essential part. It will allow them know what you expect and what you want to record so as not to miss the special moments in your wedding. Your wedding doesn’t begin when the guests show up. The preparation of getting ready, exchanging gifts, pictures, etc. are just as important and all the things you will want to be captured on video.

After watching tons of wedding videos, I wanted to highlight a few things to keep in mind when it comes to your wedding video:

  1. Share your love story. Don’t forget to include where how you met, when you fell in love, your engagement story, etc.
  2. If you’re planning on exchanging special gifts with your future spouse, make sure it gets on video! With all the emotions, you may not remember how it went. If a love letter or note is included be sure to have them read it aloud…it will be worth it.
  3. Don’t forget your guests! You invited these special people to celebrate this special moment with you, so you want to make sure you capture them having a good time at your wedding, as well.

This is your story. It’s your special day. Communicating well with your videographer will ensure that those special moments are recorded and not forgotten.

This is a big special day as you say ‘I do’, make sure it’s captured on video to help make it your Best Day Ever!
