Michael & Caroline’s Spartanburg Wedding
Couples like Michael & Caroline make our job so much fun! As soon as we saw the energy and enthusiasm Caroline brought to her wedding plans along with the rock solid support from Michael, we knew we had a beautiful story on our hands. They had both lived in New York City for several years, Caroline pursuing a career in Theatre, and Michael seeking a professorship in Religious Studies. Just a few months before the wedding, they moved back home to Spartanburg to start their married life in the South. And what a married life it will be! Both Caroline and Michael have such a heart to love and serve others, which was evident in the way their friends loved them back. Their friends even pulled together and formed a “friendship choir” to sing over Caroline and Michael at their ceremony. This beautifully captured the way communities should support each other!
Every detail was thought of and planned for. Caroline definitely has a future in wedding planning! She was so thorough and thoughtful of every single detail. The whole day was immensely personal which is what makes their film so impactful. Caroline wore a veil that had been passed down in her family for over 200 years. Incredible! They also walked down the same aisle at the same Church that her parents were married in years ago. And the creme-de-la-creme, their reception was hosted in the backyard of her childhood home! This made for an intimate and inviting environment to celebrate their marriage.
