A Styled Shoot in Greenville, SC

We recently had the opportunity to collaborate on this Hotel Domestique wedding styled shoot with some of our favorite Greenville vendor friends! It’s a special moment when several creatives bring their own unique art and talent to the table. What’s beautiful on it’s own is only exemplified when brought together with others! These collaborations remind us of the importance of community over competition. We love getting to work with old and new wedding vendors. Seeing everyone’s ideas and hard work come to life was a beautiful experience to be apart of and one worth celebrating! Enjoy the video above as well as the gorgeous photography from the talented Ryan and Alyssa Photography.

We are also excited to announce that GVL Weddings published our shoot on their blog. Be sure to check out the feature!

Planner & Florist

The style of a wedding is only as good as the planner and florist, and each of those vendors were some of the best for this shoot! Shannon and her team from Bespoken Weddings along with Kate Asire Flowers planned a stunner that inspired us from the very beginning. For the style of the day, they kept it romantic and soft with touches of modern style. Throughout the design, they incorporated bright, delicate flowers and greenery for a light and elegant look that is perfect for a spring event.

Invitation Suite

The talented creators at The Indigo Mill designed a full invitation suite for the shoot. Some of our favorite touches included a hand-drawn custom liner featuring the courtyard at Hotel Domestique with matching window detailing at the top of every initiation! Such a beautiful touch that really sets the stage for what guests can expect at the event! The handmade, deckled edge invitations paired with a delicate calligraphy script spoke to the romance and luxury of the day as a whole!

The Reception Setting

Bespoken and Kate Asire perfectly decorated an 8′ farm table from Berbank Events with a taupe linen that had a slight hint of peach tone in it. Matte black flatware, light gray napkins tied with a black velvet ribbon, candlesticks and votives set the tone for beautiful evening of conversation and celebration. Tablescapes are always my favorite! The way a table is set can inspire conversation and foster human connection in a way that only eating together can. The lovely centerpieces mirrored the bride’s bouquet which made the event feel intimate and cohesive.

I love the trends for wedding cakes these days! This cake from Cakesmith in Greenville had the most delicate little flowers that look like they are emerging from the snowy layer of icing. It is such a natural, clean, organic look that makes me want to each a slice…and then another.

Ceremony

We finished the day in classic Hotel Domestique wedding style on their private helipad with the ceremony set up. A traditional arch rimmed with bright flowers and ghost chairs made for a simple and intimate setting that is sure to inspire guests as they witness two people become one.

This day would not have been possible without the Bespoken team (Shannon, Emily, & Savannah)! It’s a special gift to be able to take an idea and make it truly come to life! The Bespoken team continues to amaze over and over again. This shoot was so inspiring for us and is sure to inspire any Brides to be in the wedding planning process. Cheers!
