Remember hurricane Florence? Well it just so happened that we were filming a wedding at Greenville Country Club the same day it rolled through town! While the hurricane was battering the east coast, Matt & Hannah were getting ready for their wedding day. Luckily we were pretty far inland and only had a little bit of rain and wind show up! Matt & Hannah were troopers and stayed so positive the whole day. Nothing was going to get in the way of their wedding day!
The first time we talked with Hannah we knew she and Matt were going to be an ideal couple! Hannah was so sweet and told us several times how much she wanted us at her wedding. Whenever we hear that from a couple it makes us so happy because we know they value video just as much as we do!
Greenville Country Club
Living in Greenville, we’d heard of many weddings at Greenville Country Club, but had never filmed there. The whole property was so beautiful! The entire outside of the building is white brick, which is a videographers dream. Matt (Hannah’s Matt) is a big golfer and so we did some creative shooting out on the golf course. You could tell he was in his element!
The Couple
Despite the impending hurricane, Hannah was so relaxed and having the best time with her bridesmaids. She even joked around pretending to be a “bridezilla” which was hilarious and made everyone laugh. Hannah alluded to Matt’s extraordinary “calmness under pressure” in the letter she wrote to him, and it was so true! Nothing phased him and he was set on one thing: marrying the love of his life!
The Wedding Film
We loved how this film turned out! It was windy, and we used the wind to our advantage in a lot of our creative shooting. You can see throughout the film the we got a lot of shots of dresses, hair and veils blowing in the wind. The windiness added it’s own unique element to the film that we normally don’t get!
