Sundara Wedding Venue
We love when a couple inquires with us who are getting married at Sundara in Roanoke, VA! About three and a half years ago Mer and I walked that very aisle. We promised the same vows, and celebrated the night away under the same tent. There isn’t a wedding we film where we are not reminded of our wedding day, and filming at Sundara takes that memory to a whole other level. Now we get to see other couples experience that same joy and excitement we felt!
The Couple
Not only were we excited about filming at Sundara, but Brian and Hannah were some of the sweetest people to work with. When we talked on video chat months before their wedding to get to know them, we knew we’d hit the jackpot with this couple! I (Mer) remembering Hannah saying how she scoured the internet for a videographer and out of all the ones she looked at, she landed on us! We felt so humbled and encouraged coming away from our chat with them.
Hannah has such a sweet soul and genuine personality. The whole day she was glowing with joy and excitement to marry her best friend. Brian is steady and laid back. Nothing phased him because he was focused on one thing: marrying the love of his life. It’s evident how well these two compliment each other!
At the end of the night Brian & Hannah’s friends and family lined up for their sparkler exit. When they got to the end of the line instead of jumping in the car and zipping off they stayed and thanked every single person with a hug and kiss as they got onto the bus/in their cars. Normally the bride and groom are the first people to leave the event, but they were some of the last to leave. This is just one example of the kindness that defines these two!
